Here’s a quicktime of the Watcher Short Film that HBO is running exclusively on Demand. The actual film is much better quality but I res’d this one down to 100MB (the maximum YouTube will upload).
If you haven’t seen it its pretty creepy, and its got a lot of character connections and artifacts that people have been commenting about here.

Today when I went to HBO I expressed concern about becoming a bit too involved in the Voyeur Project because I’m not just Watching anymore. Sure, its ironic but enough is enough. I was promised that by the end of the week, I won’t have to worry about being reached.
I was also given a disc of jpgs for apartment pairing. These are the actual mechanical files from production so to recreate the experience you have to print them, cut out the dotted area and then watch the main wall through them.
(Or just print them and really really really use your imagination)
I was quiet this weekend because Friday’s call to my voicemail freaked me out a little bit. This game of Watching has been a blast but its been getting unnervingly closer to home. The comment from “Rick” on Friday’s post is weird because Rob never actually said the Grown Up Table apartment extended to Flickr. And Rick used the same language Rob did about the midgets and the women’s boobs.
It seems like some of the readers of this blog know more than they possibly can. More characters? More purpose? More future? I’m the one running this blog and still I feel like I’m playing catch-up.
I’m confused and I’m going over to HBO again.
Some people have been writing in as characters, and one person even commented and posted a link of a Shawan Black spotting in NYC! Thats cool and everything, and I think its great that the reality/fiction line keeps blending. Enthusiasm is good.
Calling me on my cell phone on Friday the 13th and telling me that you are watching me is NOT good. Its actually a little creepy.
Two artifacts that Rob emailed me:
Stan Myreson’s wedding picture (happy ending for him I guess)
And an attendance report from PS8215, presumably the assassin.
I may be reading too much into this but these kind of suggest the end of the mortician’s story and and the beginning of the assassin’s? Dunno.
